About Alex Vaccher
Alex Vaccher is a candidate for Lane Cove Council’s Central Ward. He is running as part of Bridget Kennedy’s independent campaign.
He is second on the group ticket.
The youngest member of the team, Alex has lived in Lane Cove his whole life. He’s currently studying for a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and works part-time as a swimming instructor with students of all ages and abilities. Alex has been part of Lane Cove Council's Sustainability Advisory Committee since 2022, is a member of the Council’s Youth Advisory Group. He believes that community consultation is key to good decision-making. In his spare time, Alex enjoys swimming, bushwalking, and playing music with friends. He’s passionate about active transport, sustainability, and providing greater community support for young people in the local area. He’s running because he wants to see young people better represented in local politics and ensure that their voice is heard.
