Bridget’s independent team
We’re running a group independent ticket for Lane Cove’s Central Ward at the upcoming 14 September 2024 local government election.
Together, and by providing a voice for community-led ideas and solutions, our independent team of Bridget Kennedy, Alex Vaccher and Sally Kennedy, can make Lane Cove an even greater place to live.
Bridget Kennedy
A committed and passionate advocate for people and the environment, Bridget devotes her time to initiatives that foster community connection.
The number 1 candidate on the ticket, Bridget is currently an Independent Central Ward councillor and she wants to continue serving and representing Lane Cove’s community.
Alex Vaccher
The youngest member of the team, Alex is motivated to run for council because he wants to see young people better represented in local politics and ensure that their voices are heard
He is the second candidate on the ticket and has lived in this wonderful part of Sydney his whole life.
Alex is passionate about active transport, sustainability and providing greater community support for young people in the local area.
Sally Kennedy
Despite sharing a last name, Sally is no relation of Bridget. But she does share Bridget’s love of Lane Cove’s natural environment and community. Sally is third on the ticket.
Sally brings organisational and management skills, a measured perspective and a love of community to the team.
She has a successful career in the corporate sector in market and consumer research for major Australian and international brands.
Sally is also an experienced community campaigner.
