I’m all about local climate action

To achieve Australia’s net zero goals, we need climate action at every level of government. As your councillor, I've championed our community's transition away from fossil fuels. And I'm keen to continue that work.

This term, I've:

  • Backed a bulk-buy solar panel program and the removal of gas from council facilities

  • Supported the installation of more electric vehicle charging points in our area

  • Advocated for the Lane Cove Sport and Recreation Centre to include world-class Environmental Sustainable Design features

  • Supported banning fossil fuel advertising and sponsorship in our area

  • Advocated for reviewing our Council’s investment portfolio to reduce fossil fuel exposure

And I'm proud of our new Development Control Plan which includes many new sustainability features.

Vote 1 for me if you want to support rapid carbon emission reductions in our community.

You can download my 'how to vote' on my website (save some paper!): https://bk4lc.com/htv-2024

Early voting is open now until Friday 13 September (not open Sunday 8 September).
