NSW Local Government elections delayed until December 2021

Lane Cove Council election has been delayed until 4 December. This is good news for our community.

The announcement was official made by the NSW Government on Sunday 25 July 2021.

The announcement gives the authorities time to get the escalating Covid-19 situation under control.

It'll also mean fair participation as it will give the electoral commission time to put in place ways for everyone to safely take part in the democratic process.

For myself and my team, we're looking forward to continuing our online conversations and connecting with our community.

This gives us more time to build the Vote 1 Bridget Kennedy tribe and build strong community connections so I can represent you better!

What’s next?

I want to provide community forums for you to connect with each other.

We can’t do it in person, but by holding online events on topics our Lane Cove community is interested in, I want to provide the chance for us to come together to shape a shared vision for our Lane Cove!

Sign up to my mailing list to get your invite!
