Extraordinary meeting to review the future of Bob Campbell Oval

It's happening this Monday 24 January online.

It was a policy many of your new councillors committed to - putting a halt to synthetic grass at Bob Campbell Oval - and action is underway.

This coming Monday night an extraordinary meeting will be held to determine the future of Bob Campbell Oval.

The plan is to redirect oval improvements away from synthetic to natural turf.

It also includes a point: "to convene a working group of stakeholders and experts to develop a draft revised Master Plan, develop specifications for a natural turf sportsfield on Bob Campbell Oval and to develop indicative costings to deliver the draft revised Master Plan.

8 of your current councillors voted for this extraordinary meeting to take place. Only Councillor Scott Bennison (LIB) voted against it.
