I’m all about supporting Lane Cove artists

The NSW Government has announced a new round of business support. It takes in micro-businesses (those who earn under $75k a year) and sole traders. Find more information here.
Discovering local Lane Cove artists
If you want to support our creative scene, now could be the time to discover our local artists. Many have an online presence.
Some you may have already met on the fabulous Greenwich Village Art Trail. Like Nicola Hart who made this beautiful bowl.... I reckon it’s just crying out to be filled with a takeaway meal from a local Lane Cove business!
Supporting the local Lane Cove arts scene
As a Lane Cove councillor, I would work on initiatives to improve the profile of the arts in our local area. I’d love to introduce a hyperlocal database of online creatives, from graphic designers to ceramic artists, to copywriters, to make it easier for both small businesses and residents to match up with creatives and build collaborative networks.
The City of Ballarat has recently implemented this through their Creative Ballarat program and it's been very successful!
