How's everyone feeling after the lockdown extension and expansion news? Bit stressed? It is a blow. It's not what we wanted to hear, but it's what we need to do to keep our community safe.
Not feeling ok?
It's natural to experience feelings of uncertainty and anxiety right now. If you're not feeling ok, you might want to check out the Beyond Blue Coronavirus Mental Wellbeing Support Service.

You don't need to be in crisis to seek support – the service is available to everyone, no matter your situation.
If you or anyone you know is in immediate danger, always call 000.
Some people don't want to talk on the phone. But sometimes nighttime is hard.
If you need support, you can text with someone from Lifeline. They provide short-term support for people who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping

Support for vulnerable people
Did you know that there's help available for vulnerable people in our community?
If you have an elderly or vulnerable neighbour who needs help – please ask them to contact Sydney Community Services.
The NSW Government is really asking people to not go in person to the shops if they don't have to.
Sydney Community Services provide services such a Meals on Wheels and help with online grocery shopping.

Support for businesses
This news will be a real blow for businesses.
The NSW Government announced an expanded Covid-19 relief business package on 12 July.
There’s support available for businesses, sole-traders, micro-businesses, and non-profits.
