Rubbish - it’s not what you think it is!
I was honoured to be invited to speak at the Lane Cove Historical Society at their AGM about one of my favourite topics - WASTE! Ok, I get that it’s probably a bit of a daggy subject to many but I’m passionate about ways in which we can see waste as resource. We often throw out SO MANY things that have value, including food and organic waste. Waste is something that connects us all!
Lane Cove Sport and Recreation Centre to go ahead - no matter the NSW State Election outcome
Last night was an important night for our community with some certainty on the delivery of a much-longed for Lane Cove Sports and Recreation Centre. It was voted to proceed to tender at the ordinary council meeting. There was a lot of behind the scenes collaboration to get to this outcome.

Did you know property developers can be on council?
You can thank the Liberals for this one. They have continuously shrunk away from any attempts to amend legislation in this area. Who are they protecting? This needs to change!
